• Wash and rinse your hands thoroughly, then dry with a lint-free towel.

• Always start with the same lens (left or right), to avoid mix-ups.

• Look up and hold down the lower lid with the middle finger of your left hand. 
  Remember that the lid will be held down throughout the removal procedure. 

• Take the right hand and lightly place the tip of the index finger on the center of the lens surface.

• Slowly slide the lens onto the lower sclera  ( white part ).

• Remember that since the lens is self-centering, the index finger must be kept on the lens surface at all times.

• Pinch the lens gently between the thumb and index finger, ice-tong fashion, and pull the lens gently away from the eye.

• Place the lens Base Curve up in the proper compartment of the lens case.

• Following the same procedure inverting your hands, for the other eye. 

1. Look up and hold down the lower lid with the middle finger of your left hand. Remember that the lid will be held down throughout the removal procedure. 
2. Take the right hand and lightly place the tip of the index finger on the center of the lens surface.

3. Slowly slide the lens onto the lower sclera 
( white part ). Remember that since the lens is self-centering, the index finger must be kept on the lens surface at all times.

4. Pinch the lens gently between the thumb and index finger, ice-tong fashion, and pull the lens gently away from the eye.
5. Place the lens in the proper compartment of the lens case.
6. Following the same procedure inverting your hands, for the other eye.
